Suicide Risk Assessment, Prevention, Intervention, Collaborative Safety Planning, & Linkage to Resources Workshop

May 6 & 13, 2025

This workshop is designed to help build and refresh the most important suicide intervention skills and is designed for providers at all levels of care. This course satisfies the 6-hour suicide risk assessment and intervention training required under Bill AB 1436 for licensure and renewal for LMFTs, LPCCs, LEP, & LCSWs.

Clinical Supervision Training

The Basics of the Clinical Supervision Training course is designed to meet the requirements for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences 15-hour basic supervision course. Trauma and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Training

New Training: Intervening with Youth with IDD who have Experienced Trauma. Youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) often face unique vulnerabilities that can make them more susceptible to experiencing trauma. Communication challenges, social isolation, and dependence on caregivers may complicate treatment and timely interventions.  In addition, trauma may manifest differently requiring specialized approaches to recognition, intervention, and support.

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Latine Children and Families Training

Join us to learn about ways to successfully engage Latine families in a culturally responsive manner carry yourself with cultural humility and apply core values to make TF-CBT more culturally relevant.  This training will explore cultural enhancements to the PRACTICE components with culturally and linguistically appropriate resources.  Case examples will be used throughout the training.  This training is for therapists who have already completed the initial TF-CBT training.

Initial Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy TF-CBT Training

Join us for a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) virtual training to begin learning about a proven practice that has robust evidence to treat trauma. This workshop is the initial training as part of a proficiency certification course in TF-CBT for master’s level and above behavioral health practitioners who have completed the necessary prerequisite to see clients.
